Music for your venue
EasyJukebox is a complete cloud-based music solution for venues.
It delivers a music experience that:
- connects guests with your venue
- sets the right mood for any occasion
- masks operational noise and creates a working ambiance
- improves the waiting experience at reception or for orders
- reinforces your venue's style and brand
Tailor the music content to your needs.
Available:
- Curated playlists and radio stations by genre, mood, and other categories
- Unlimited custom playlists of up to 500 tracks
- Music library for searching tracks, artists, and albums
- Restriction of specific tracks or artists
- Allow or block explicit content
Shows the TOP 100 tracks by default. Used for searching and adding tracks to the playback queue or custom playlists.
Browse playlists by category. Create your own custom playlists.
Allows blocking individual tracks or groups of tracks. If tracks are blocked individually, they won't play. If an artist or tracks by country of origin are blocked, attempting to play them adds them to a waiting list — staff can allow them one-time or add them to the allowed list.
Schedule & playback
Schedule a music programme that automatically plays and changes according to the chosen timetable.
- Weekly schedule — time-based music planning for the whole week
- Daily timetable — set different music blocks for different parts of the day
- Automatic playback — follows the schedule with the option for manual override
- Custom content — insert your own playlists and ads
When scheduling, you can choose from available radio stations and playlists.
Radio — offers an endless music mix, tracks play in random order.
Playlist — a finite list of tracks, played in sequence.
Plan music for the whole week using daily timelines. Each day can be split into individual time blocks — music themes. For each block you can:
- restrict playback to the venue's own playlists only
- enable or disable the jukebox — guest-selected tracks
- block tracks by parameters (blocked tracks in settings)
- allow explicit tracks (marked with the letter "E")
Playback settings
- Track charges — if inactive, guests add tracks for free. If enabled, guests pay with coins. More in Rewards mode.
- Track repeat — set a repeat limit for the same track. Prevents the same track from playing multiple times in a row.
- Max tracks per guest — limits how many queued tracks one guest can have. Prevents one guest from filling the entire queue.
The guest hears the calm midday music shift to energetic late afternoon sounds. In the guest app they pick a track to play. Since playback is allowed and the queue is empty, their track plays immediately. Free track playback is set to limit = 3 — they can play two more tracks for free. The fourth track will require coins (easyJukebox rewards). The limit resets after 6 hours.
More examples of settings that affect how guests can add tracks to the queue:
- repeat limit = 2 — a guest can replay their favourite track only after 2 other tracks have played
- max tracks = 5 — a guest can have up to 5 tracks in the queue at once; they must wait for one to play before adding another
Jukebox for guests
EasyJukebox is a digital jukebox in the guest's pocket.
Guests play their favourite music at their favourite venue — no staff needed, just wifi.
- pick tracks directly from the mobile app
- tracks are automatically queued for playback
- guests can jump the queue with coins
Where do guests find a venue with easyJukebox?
Guests discover easyJukebox venues through the venue map — a directory of places where they can play their music.
Tracks selected by guests are automatically added to the regular queue. With coins, a guest can skip ahead — their track moves to the priority (paid) queue, which plays before the regular queue.
Guests buy coins in the app and spend them to jump the queue or to play a track (if the venue has that enabled). The venue can choose from two modes in playback settings:
- Vibe — pay only for skipping to the priority queue
- Retro — pay per track played and per priority queue skip
The venue sets the rules — allowed genres, blocked tracks, repeat limits, queuing options and more. Guests choose within what the venue allows.
Modes & rewards
The venue decides how guests are charged for playing tracks.
There are two approaches — the classic Retro and the modern Vibe.
Playback is free. Guests pay with coins only to skip to the priority queue.
Playing a track costs coins.
Tip: Retro can still feel modern — give guests a few free tracks using the "Free tracks per guest" feature.
Where to set the track pricing mode?
Track pricing is found in settings under Playback options.
The default mode is Vibe — pay only for queue skipping.
Enabling "Limit free track requests" switches to Retro mode. There you can set a limited number of free tracks per guest, which resets every 6 h.
For every coin spent by a guest, the venue will earn a financial reward. The more guests play, the more the venue earns.
The chosen mode determines how guests spend their coins.
