Privacy Policy — Guest Application

Data Controller

The data controller is GAIA GROUP SE, ID No. 24179787, with registered office at Xaveriova 1946/5, Smíchov, 150 00 Prague 5, Czech Republic, registered with the Municipal Court in Prague under file No. H 464.

What data we process

The Application does not process personal data in the traditional sense. When using the Application, we only work with the following technical data:

• Wi-Fi network name — used to identify which venue you are connected to, without accessing your exact geographical location via Wi-Fi.
• Precise location — used exclusively to display nearby venues on a map, only when you activate this feature yourself. Location data is not stored.
• Passkey — used for user authentication. Authentication is handled locally on your device (biometrics or PIN). The Provider does not have access to biometric data and does not store it.
• EJB Coin balance — we track the virtual currency balance linked to your Passkey. Actual purchase transactions are processed by Google Play or Apple App Store.

Legal basis for processing

• Processing of technical data (Wi-Fi, location) is based on the legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — ensuring the functionality of the Application.
• Precise location is processed only with your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you grant by allowing location access on your device.
• EJB Coin balance tracking is based on contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — ensuring the virtual currency functionality.

What we do not collect

We explicitly state that we do not collect or process:

• name, surname, or username,
• email address,
• phone number,
• password (Passkey is passwordless),
• home address,
• payment details (payments are handled by Google Play / App Store),
• analytics or tracking data.

Google Maps Services

The Application uses Google Maps Platform APIs to display maps and nearby venues.

By using the Application, you acknowledge that your use of Google Maps features is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Google may collect its own data in accordance with its policies when providing these services. This processing is outside the control of the Provider.

Third-party disclosure

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third parties for marketing or any other purposes.

The only exception is Google Maps services (see above), which process location data according to their own terms. EJB Coin purchases are processed exclusively by Google Play or Apple App Store.

Transfer to third countries

When using Google Maps APIs, location data may be transferred to Google servers in the USA. Google participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures an adequate level of personal data protection.

Data retention

• Wi-Fi network name — processed in real-time only, not stored.
• Location — processed in real-time only when displaying the map, not stored.
• EJB Coin balance — maintained for the lifetime of the account (Passkey). If the Passkey is deleted or the platform is changed, data is permanently lost.

Children and minors

The Application is not primarily intended for children, but can be used by users of any age. Since we do not collect any personal data, there is no collection of children's data within the meaning of GDPR Art. 8 or the COPPA regulation.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• access your data — given that we do not collect personal data, the scope of such information is minimal,
• rectification of inaccurate data,
• erasure of data — deleting the Passkey from your device automatically removes the account and all associated data,
• restriction of processing,
• object to processing,
• data portability,
• lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.cz).

Security

Access to the Application is secured by Passkey technology, which uses cryptographic keys stored directly on your device. Communication between the Application and server is encrypted. While we take reasonable measures to protect data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the Application or legal requirements. Updated versions will be published with a revised effective date.

Availability and platforms

The Application is available on Android and iOS platforms. We comply with the privacy guidelines set by Google Play and Apple App Store, including their respective privacy labeling systems.
