Terms of Service

Terms of Use — Guest Application

Terms and conditions for using the easyJukebox mobile application for guests.

These terms govern the relationship between the easyJukebox service provider and the user of the guest mobile application. By using the application, you agree to these terms.

Effective Date: June 17, 2025

1. Introduction

GAIA GROUP SE, ID No. 24179787, with registered office at Xaveriova 1946/5, Smíchov, 150 00 Prague 5, Czech Republic, registered with the Municipal Court in Prague under file No. H 464 (hereinafter the "Provider"), is the operator of the website easyjukebox.eu and the easyJukebox mobile application for Android and iOS platforms (hereinafter the "Application").

The relationship between the Provider and the User of the Application is governed by these terms and conditions (hereinafter the "Terms"). The User agrees to fully comply with these Terms.

A User is any person who downloads, installs, or begins using the Application.

The Service refers to all features of the Application that allow the User to search for, select, and add music tracks to the playback queue at a venue via a mobile device.

2. Agreement to Terms

The User is required to read and agree to these Terms before using the Application. Consent is a mandatory condition for using the Service. The User expresses agreement by beginning to use the Application.

3. Using the Application

The Application is available for download on Android (Google Play) and iOS (App Store) platforms.

An internet connection is required to use the Application. The cost of the internet connection is borne by the User.

To add tracks to the queue, the User must be connected to the wifi network of the venue operating the easyJukebox service.

4. User Account & Passkey

What is a Passkey?

A Passkey is a modern, password-free login method. It uses cryptographic keys stored directly on your device (phone or tablet) — authentication is performed via biometrics (fingerprint, Face ID) or your device PIN. A Passkey is tied to a specific device and platform.

Access to the Application is tied to the User's Passkey. The Provider does not collect or store personal data as part of account creation.

The User is solely responsible for the security of their Passkey. The Provider cannot restore access to an account if the Passkey is lost or if the User switches platforms (e.g., from Android to iOS or vice versa). In such cases, all account data including EJB Coins may be permanently lost.

The User is solely responsible for all activities carried out through their account.

5. EJB Coins (Virtual Currency)

EJB Coin is a virtual currency managed exclusively by GAIA GROUP SE. EJB Coins are used to move a track from the Standard Queue to the Priority Queue (see section 6).

How EJB Coins are used depends on the mode set by the venue operator — see section 6.

Purchases of EJB Coins are subject to the terms of the respective app store (Google Play or App Store). Refund policies of the respective store apply.

EJB Coins are tied to the User's Passkey. If the Passkey is lost or the platform is changed, all EJB Coins and account data may be permanently lost. By using the Application and purchasing EJB Coins, the User acknowledges and accepts this risk.

Unauthorized purchase or use of EJB Coins may be subject to cancellation.

6. Playback Queue System

The playback queue has two levels: the Standard Queue and the Priority Queue. The Priority Queue always takes precedence — all tracks in the Priority Queue are played before tracks in the Standard Queue.

Within each queue, the order cannot be skipped. A newly added track is always placed at the end of the respective queue. The only way to advance a track is to move it from the Standard Queue to the Priority Queue using EJB Coins.

The conditions for using each queue depend on the mode chosen by the venue operator:

  • Vibe mode: adding a track to the Standard Queue is free of charge. EJB Coins are used when the User wishes to move a track to the Priority Queue.
  • Retro mode: EJB Coins are required to add a track to the queue at all. Moving to the Priority Queue is an additional option.

The venue operator has the right to restrict or block the playback of certain tracks.

7. Use of Google Maps Services

The Application uses Google Maps Platform APIs to provide location-based services and map features.

By using the Application, you agree that your use of Google Maps features is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

8. Availability and Changes to the Service

The Provider strives to maintain continuous operation of the Application but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

The Provider has the right to make modifications, improvements, or maintenance to the Application at any time, including without prior notice.

The User acknowledges that temporary outages may occur for technical reasons and the Provider shall not be held liable for such outages.

9. User Conduct

The User agrees not to use the Application for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

The User shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the Application.

The User shall not damage, overload, or disrupt the operation of the Application.

10. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Application, including software, content, trademarks, logos, and music tracks, are the property of GAIA GROUP SE or its licensors.

The User is granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Application for personal purposes.

Any unauthorized copying, distribution, modification, or use of the Application or its content is strictly prohibited.

11. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Provider shall not be liable for any damages arising from or related to the use or inability to use the Application.

The Provider shall not be liable for any unauthorized access to or alteration of the User's transmissions or data.

The User is responsible for protecting their device and data, particularly against unauthorized access and viruses.

12. Termination

The Provider reserves the right to suspend or terminate the User's access to the Application at any time for violation of these Terms or applicable law.

The User may stop using the Application and uninstall it from their device at any time.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic.

Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Prague, Czech Republic.
